An exciting opportunity exists for a temporary full time Digitisation Officer to work with Health Information Services within the large Royal North Shore Hospital facility at Northern Sydney Local Health District.

What you'll be doing
The Digitisation Officer is responsible for a wide range of administrative duties within Health Information Services (HIS) such as performing document imaging tasks, including PDF upload and secure org scanning. The role is also responsible for creating new records as required, assisting in records destruction, processing offsite storage records, picking up paperwork for scanning and delivering records across the Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) campus.

The Digitisation Officer is expected to meet daily productivity benchmarks, achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and NSLHD quality standards whilst maintaining patient confidentiality and data privacy.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Knowledge and experience in health administrative functions.

  • Developed computer skills including experience with document imaging, patient administrations systems and Microsoft Office suite
